1. Install HTC Sync on your PC

you can download it from: www.htc.com/www/help/htc-explorer/#download
(needed so computer recognises commands)

2. Unlock your phone's bootloader

- Following the steps in www.htcdev.com/bootloader

Note: HTC Explorer isn´t listed as a working device yet but it has been tested and works perfectly. Choose "all other supported models" when selecting device.

3. Add a recovery

That will allow you to install .zip ROMs. You can access to it in the menu android phones have when booting the phone after removing-inserting the battery and pressing "volume down" and "power" buttons simultaneously. (Other phones have different button combinations).

- Download A310E Recovery.zip
- extract it in any window on your PC (ie: C:\HTC)
- run the recovery.bat with phone in fastboot mode (first option in the "3 android menu" ) and connected with usb.

Note: I edited the recovery.bat and removed any unnecessary commands so no errors occur

Done! You got the recovery installed if no errors, you can now install any compatible .zip ROM or app.

4. ROOT the device

- Place this Superuser.zip file somewhere in the microSD first.
- Go into Recovery mode ("volume down" + "power")
- install Superuser.zip with the option "install .zip from sd" from the recovery menu.

Detailed Guide On How To Flash Sense 4.0 ROM

_____________________________________________________________________________________
After development goes on sense base ROM's I see that most of people face problem regarding BOOT-LOOPS, stuck at hTc Logo and confusion on some steps how to do that. So,this post for those who get boot-loops, Stuck at hTc Logo and facing problem at the installation time...

(1) First to install sense 4 build #6 we need SD-ext partition.as deferas mention we need minimum 1 GB SD-Ext (ext 4-->most preferable).

(2) To make partition i often use" Mini tool Partition Wizard" but what i figure out that partition make through Minitool is not recognized in TWRP Recovery for me so what i do is as following.

(3) MOST RECOMMENDED--> First do a complete backup of your SD-card somewhere in your computer. OK now all set, we move step further.

(4) Now reboot in to recovery...for general i use application Rebooter (fast reboot){that is available free of cost on play store} through this you can simply directly reboot into recovery and for other cases we all know our default way to reboot in to recovery....

(5) After entering into recovery--> Advance settings --> Partitioned SD card --> now here REMEMBER one thing when we partition memory card through recovery it will fully format/delete all your data of SD card that's why i mention STEP-3 ---> select partition size 1024 Mb and swap size 0 and click ext 4 button for file system of SD-ext to set as ext 4....then enter(swipe for partition)...it will take 2-5 minutes...now you have created partition of ext 4 1024 Mb (1 GB)...now reboot once recovery...

(6) Mount your SD card through mount option and mount as USB storage...put your desire build zip file in the root of the folder....and unmount it...

(7) Now RECOMMENDED--> don't use super wipe for wiping all things..do it manually...---->CAREFULLY don't wipe External storage(SD-card) now one by one wipe all this things --> wipe CACHE/Dalvik Cache then SYSTEM then DATA then FACTORY RESET and last SD_EXT and .ANDROID SECURE...after this all steps you have complete clean device...

(8) Before install we need to figured out what need to mount or not...this is only for sense base ROMs
Case-1) Sense 4.0 build 1/2/3 --> mount cache and SD-ext
Case-2) Sense 4.0 build 4/5/6 --> no need to mount anything..
(it will be automatically mounted at installation time...)REMEMBER-->don't unmount external storage(SD-card) it is by default check marked leave it as it is...

(9) Select install zip from SD card....choose file...

(10) After installation it will booted after start up tone leave it for 3-5 minute for stable device---> now unlock ring "There is possibility for after first time booting it will reboot 1/2/3 times because it is make work on script link your data to SD-ext and loading other stuffs....so be patient...don't be panic....

(11) Enjoy your little lucky Pico...

I assure that after following this detail guide you have successfully install your Sense 4.0...thank you for reading this guide...
